手渡し出来る光を模索し、和紙という素材で具現化したものは極薄い彫刻された紙になりました。新潟県で伝統的な手漉き和紙の技法を駆使して光の表現を紙に落とし込み作品を制作しています。

In search for the way to weave light into Washi - Japanese traditional paper - we made it possible to place an engraving onto extremely thin paper.
We create products by making full use of traditional handmade Japanese paper techniques in Niigata Prefecture, and express the delicate tone of light in our artworks.

紙を飾る道具

日本で古くから木工の現場において使われている大工道具である端金（ハタガネ）。作業時に材料を固定するために使用されてきた真鍮の端金の先端に磁石がつくステンレスをねじ込みポストカードなどの紙ものをシンプルにディスプレイするための道具にしました。

The hatagane is a carpenter's tool that has been used in woodworking for centuries in Japan. The brass hatagane has been used to hold materials in place during work, and a stainless steel magnet is screwed onto the end of the brass hatagane to make it a simple tool for displaying postcards and other paper items.
